Hanna Lee Joshi is a Korean-Canadian artist based in Vancouver whose work is, at its core, an inner self portrait — a meditative mapping of her interior world through the female figure.

Working in layered paint with coloured pencil built over the surface, she chases luminosity and gradient as a way of finding and sharing her voice. Her practice is as much about the making as the made — a slow, deliberate process of becoming visible to herself and, through that, to others.

She has worked with Adobe, and her work has been featured in Hi-Fructose, Colossal, and exhibited internationally.
